Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between self-efficacy and interpersonal communication skills among students at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas AKI. The research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. A total of 150 students were selected as participants through random sampling. Data were collected using two instruments: the Self-Efficacy Scale and the Interpersonal Communication Scale. The data were analyzed using Pearson's correlation to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and interpersonal communication. The results indicated a significant positive correlation between self-efficacy and interpersonal communication skills (r = 0.62, p < 0.01), suggesting that higher self-efficacy is associated with better interpersonal communication skills. These findings highlight the importance of self-efficacy in developing effective interpersonal communication among students.
